Art van Meeterenīs problem solving skills were honed in college while he worked as an R&D associate in the field of Precision Engineering/ Nano Technology at the Cameron Applied Research Center. After completing his undergraduate work in Electrical Engineering he went on to study precision engineering/machine design and physics in graduate school. While working at the Cameron Applied Research Center in the field of nanotechnology, he developed a keen ability to solve complex problems with minimal supervision. This was also when he developed a strong interest and ability for R&D work. He served as a Research Associate for 3 years.
During his career he has demonstrated his passions for design and development of mechanical/software systems, large software system integration, enterprise web content management systems and personalized web portal system.
For the last 7 years, he has primarily focused on the Enterprise IT web application development, integration and roll out working for some of the worlds leading companies. Currently focused on the IBM WebSphere Portal product and it's integration with clients content management systems to provide a seamless flow of information from the content contributors to create a targeted, personalized message to the customer ( internal or external )
